Google Employee Fired For Viral Gender Memo Already Has New Job Offer. You Won’t Believe Who With

James Damore was unceremoniously booted from his engineering position at Google after circulating a memo accusing the tech giant of left-wing, liberal bias.

His 10-page manifesto sought to explain the biological differences between men and women (a particular area of science that liberals have chosen to pretend doesn’t exist), and how those difference affect the ways men and women approach their jobs.

Damore lamented that viewpoints such as his are often stifled in the liberal culture that has overtaken Google and much of the hi-tech industry. On that point, at least, he was validated when Google fired Damore just days after sending his memo.

In a subsequent interview with Bloomberg, Damore suggested that he was considering suing Google for violating his First Amendment rights. But legal experts across the spectrum warned that he would lose.

As UCLA Prof. Eugene Volokh, a leading conservative legal theorist, previously explained, the First Amendment prohibits the federal government from restricting free speech, but puts no such limitations on private employers.

In other words, Damore has a constitutional right to say whatever he wants on the topic, but he doesn’t have a constitutional right to a job at Google.

But even as his hopes of a successful lawsuit were being dashed, Damore received some good news in the form of a new, very high-profile job offer.

Julian Assange has offered the Google employee who was fired for writing an anti-diversity memo a job at Wikileaks.

Assange, who is currently in the Ecuadorian embassy, tweeted multiple times in support of James Damore, the engineer who wrote the memo which went viral.

He said: “Censorship is for losers. @WikiLeaks is offering a job to fired Google engineer James Damore.

“Women & men deserve respect. That includes not firing them for politely expressing ideas but rather arguing back.”
